WMN Advisory Board Formed

In July 2008, Wealth Management Network formed an advisory board made up of various outside professional experts. The mission of the WMN Advisory Board is to help WMN navigate its vision through fruitful discussions, strategic planning and quality recommendations. It’s an honor and privilege for us to work with this esteemed group.

20th Anniversary Wealth Management Forum & Open House

Since being founded in 1987 by Mark Moehlman, over 100 educational Wealth Management Forum presentations have been held over the last 20 years. To celebrate, five prominent business and academic leaders were invited to share their comments with the audience regarding initiatives within their respective organizations.

Lucy Dunn, President and CEO of the Orange County Business Journal, addressed the changing economic and business profile within Orange County and the exciting opportunities looking forward.

Shelley Hoss, President of the Orange County Community Foundation, provided an update in the vibrant philanthropic activities in the O.C. and the role the O.C.C.F. plays in assisting donors with strategic gifting.

Dr. Rick Afable, President and CEO of Hoag Memorial Hospital, conducted an interactive session with the audience discussing the challenges faced by the U.S. health insurance system, Medicare and an aging population.

Andy Policano, Dean of the Paul Merage School of Business, spoke about the centers of excellence recently established as collaborations between the Merage School of Business and the Orange County business community. Included among them is the Center for Investment and Wealth Management, of which Wealth Management Network is a Charter Founding Member.

John Moorlach, District 2 Orange County Supervisor, presented an official County of Orange proclamation to Wealth Management Forum for 20 years of hosting educational forums for the citizens and business community in Orange County.

All guests enjoyed a wide range of elegant hors d' oeuvres (including handmade sushi), classical guitar music and great wine. It was an evening to remember.
